William (Sr) Trujillo

William Trujillo Sr., age 84, passed away on March 23, 2026.

He was born on January 2, 1942, in Ancho, New Mexico, to Jesus Trujillo and Lucilla Baroz. He spent his early years in Carrizozo, New Mexico, and later settled in Alamogordo, where he built his life and raised his family.

William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carmen Trujillo; his parents, Jesus and Lucilla; his brother, Boni Trujillo; and his sisters, Viola and Aresenia.

He is survived by his children, Helen Blea and Willie Trujillo; his grandchildren, Angel Campos, Connie Trujillo, Willie Trujillo, Rudy Trujillo, George Silva, Sarah Silva, Jessica Silva, Dolly, Margaret, and April; his siblings, Preston Trujillo, Eddie Trujillo, and Maxine Hinshaw; and many great-grandchildren who brought him joy.

A lifelong construction worker, William took pride in his work and was known for being incredibly handy, able to fix just about anything. He loved Mexican food, visiting the Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino, and had a special gift for making his grandchildren laugh.

William carried deep New Mexico roots from White Oaks to Coyote and beyond. His strength, humor, and dedication to family will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. May he rest in peace, reunited with those who went before him.

A service for William Trujillo will be held at Scenic Chapel on Monday, March 30th, 2026 at 10:00 AM
