Wendelyn Josephine (Madrid) Aiken, 60, passed away on February 14, 2023 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Wendy was born on September 21, 1962 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Amador and Margaret (Munoz) Madrid.
Survivors include sisters, Gloria Kostrzewa, Mary Helen Zarzyki, Virginia Madrid-Cisco, Martha M. Telles, Rose Anna Myers, Bobbie Jo Montanye and Margie Kim Hall; brother Peter Ephriam Madrid; half siblings, Czar and Sandy of Mescalero Apache Tribe.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Munoz Madrid Ortega and her father, Ilyald Reynolds Madrid, her brother, Vincent Ilyold Madrid, sisters, Theresa Madrid Pespeanon, Frances Pespeanon; her niece, Melissa June Telles, brother-in-law, Mark Telles .
Wendy died a professional beautician of 25 years in Vegas. She was valedictorian of her Alamogordo High School class. Wendy was a people person and had many treasured friends and clients. She will be and is already missed.
Mass service will be held March 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church followed by graveside service.
The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Scenic Chapel to direct the funeral services.
