Rosa Farmer was called to her eternal resting place on February 23, 2022. Rosa was born on March 13, 1948 in Alamogordo, NM to Conrado & Ruth Lopez. Rosa graduated from Alamogordo High School and International Business College. Rosa married the love of her life Bobby Farmer on September 9, 1967.
Rosa was a devoted sister, wife and mother. She loved working with the public in Customer Service. From her days at TG&Y, Alamo-Do-It-Center, to Lowes Home Improvement, she will always be remembered by her friendly personality and beautiful smile. The dimples in her beautiful cheeks will forever be instilled in our memory. Rosa enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. Her biggest passion was always her family. She was the most compassionate and selfless person to all her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Farmer, parents Conrado & Ruth Lopez, brother Conrad Jr., and sister Conception Cummings. She is survived by her three children. Melissa Godwin (Mark) of Norman, OK; Michele Farmer (John) of Colorado Springs, CO; and Kristen Garcia (Jamie) of Albany, TX. Sisters Ruth Marquez of Albuquerque, NM; Frances Lopez of San Antonio, TX; and Paula Crowder of Bossier City, LA.
Rosa is survived by 9 grandchildren. Jordan Jean-Louis, Manuel Michael Romero, Sean Farmer, Destiny Romero, Ralfie, Angelica & Mario Garcia, Christopher Brusuelas and Reyna Garcia. Rosa has 10 great-grandchildren. Shantel Romero, Rosalina Slape, Stella & Gabriel Farmer, Amelia Romero, Reni Garcia, Serenity & Luciano Garcia, Michael Mays and Alexander King Jean-Louis. Rosa also has several nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly.
Tuesday March 15, 2022 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church the rosary will be recited with mass immediately following. Burial will be at Monte Vista Cemetery. Reception to follow at St. Jude Parish Hall.
The Farmer family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Scenic Chapel to direct the funeral services.
