Ramon Mejia Aponte Sr

Ramón Mejía Aponte Sr (87) se fue a casa con nuestro Padre Celestial el martes 3 de diciembre de 2024. Ramon fue una persona muy amigable, alegre, y Generoso. Siempre lo recordaremos por su gran sonrisa, nunca enseno dolor. Siempre lo oculto detras de esa sonrisa. Siempre cuido de su familia y educo a sus hijos como a sus nietos. Cada uno de sus nietos tienen una experiencia y anecdota que contar.

Las nietas tuvieron el Honor de bailar su vals con su abuelo

Una persona muy chistosa y siempre recordaremos a todos les llamaba “Cunado”, le recordaremos la frase “Trucha con la Carucha” y “Abusadillo desde Chiquillo” aseguo que los nietos sabran perfectamente de lo que eso significaba. Lo Podemos llamar “El Rey de las Galletas” eso no faltaba en casa ni en donde estuvieras. Siempre le gustaban las camisas con bolsita al pecho donde llevaba sus galletas. 

Ramon Mejia Aponte Sr (87) went home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. He was a very friendly, cheerful, and generous person. We will always remember him for his big smile, he never showed pain. He always hid it behind that smile. He always took care of his family and raised his children as well as his grandchildren. Each of his grandchildren has an experience and anecdote to tell. His granddaughters had the honor of dancing the waltz with their grandfather, he was known as "The King of Cookies" and preferred to wear shirts that had pockets to carry those cookies wherever he went, and he was a very funny person and we will always remember everyone called him "Cunado", we will remind him of the phrase "Trucha con la Carucha" and "Abusadillo desde Chiquillo" he assured that the grandchildren knew perfectly well what that meant. 

Survivors include his spouse of 65 years, Josefina Mejia, his only son Ramon Mejia Jr. & spouse Lori Mejia, Nine daughters, Guadalupe Silva & spouse Pablito Silva, Irma Alicia Flores & spouse Efren Flores, Maria de la Luz Gaytan and spouse Israel Gaytan, Maria De los Angeles Mejia, Lorena Amador, Patricia Mejia, Evangelina Mejia, Josefina Mejia Jr, and Lidia Adams & spouse Nick Adams; 28 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
