Octaviano Arturo (O.D.) Duran

Octaviano, 67, of Alamogordo, passed away on November 2, 2021 at home from health complications. He was born to the late to Profecto and Andrea Duran. 

He was preceded in death by brothers, Ricardo, Samuel, Michael and Geronimo Duran.

Survivors are brothers, Raphael Almengor (Annie), David Duran (Linda), Alfredo Duran and a sister, Carolina Duran (Billy).  He left behind his beloved wife, Tina Duran; his son, Ernie Duran (Shannon); daughter, Patricia Parra; step daughter, Linda Cardena and several grandchildren.

There will be a Rosary at Scenic Chapel (formerly Hamilton O'Dell Funeral Home) on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 at 10 a.m. recited by Corina Duran followed by a graveside burial at the Catholic Cemetery with Father Marcel officiating.

A reception will follow at Veronica Duran's home, 47 Section Road in La Luz, NM.

He will be greatly missed; God rest your soul!
