Luis Martinez, 82, passed away on January 10, 2017 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born on October 11, 1934 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Pablo and Francisca (Franco) Martinez.

Survivors include his daughters, Guadalupe Martinez and Rosa Maria Dugan; sons, Ernesto Martinez, Luis Martinez Jr., Gabriel Martinez and Franco Martinez. He was preceded in death by his parents Pablo & Francisca. Leyva-Martinez

The praying of the Holy Rosary for Luis Martinez will be recited at 10:00 am, Monday, January 23, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 am, Monday, January 23, 2017 also at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Alamogordo, NM. Immediately following the Mass of Christian Burial, Luis Martinez will be buried at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Alamogordo, NM. Father Mike Lindsay will be the Celebrant for both the Mass and the Christian Burial.
The Martinez family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
