Linnie V. Belver

Linnie V. Belver went home to her Lord and Savior December 8, 2017. She was born in Mabank, Texas on October 6, 1919 to Richard Ace Person and Sophie Ellen Woodworth.

Linnie married James Lloyd Belver and together they raised three sons; Howard, Lloyd, and James Belver. Throughout her life, she continued to be the best loving wife and mother. She was loved by numerous family and friends and was like a mother to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sons Lloyd Glen Belver and Howard Nelson Belver, and her husband James of 64 years. She is survived by son James Michael Belver (Karen), eight loved grandchildren and many beloved great and great-great grandchildren. Her pride and joy was always in her family.

A celebration of life will be held for Linnie on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10:00 AM at The Gathering Place Church located at 1601 Hawaii Ave., Alamogordo, NM. Pastor Don Hoffman will officiate and many will be invited to share their memories.

The Belver family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home. Her body will be cremated.
