Linda Kay Sprague

Linda Kay Nowell Sprague entered into the gates of heaven on August 6, 2024.

Linda was born to William Truman Nowell and Mary Apodaca Nowell on July 11, 1955 in Tularosa, New Mexico

Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and best friend.  She met and married Donald Sprague on January 18, 1971.  They welcomed their first child, Casi Louise Vigil, on July 24, 1971; their second child, Mary Cristina Murry, on October 8, 1973; their third child, Donald Lee Sprague Jr., on October 10, 1975 and their fourth child, Crystal Dawn Sprague, on March 31, 1977.  First and foremost, she loved her children to the moon and back but most of all she cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Don, of the family home in Tularosa, NM; daughter, Casi Vigil of La Luz, NM; daughter, Mary and husband Logan Murry, of Springdale, AR; son, Jr Sprague of Fort Scott, KS; and daughter, Crystal Sprague of Alamogordo, NM; also 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her siblings:  Jerry Nowell, Robert Nowell and Margaret Abney; and many loved nieces and nephews,

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, William Truman and Mary Nowell; siblings, Patricia Nowell Curry and Tony Nowell.

A celebration of her life will happen at a later date.

The Sprague family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Scenic Chapel to direct the services.
