Kenneth Paul Matthews
Kenneth was born in Vernon TX on February 2, 1952 to Homer and Delilah Matthews. He was called home to be with the lord on December 19,2017 in Alamogordo. Kenneth was an Alamogordo High School Graduate class of 1970 where he met his first wife Leona Danley. They were married for 18 years. Ken joined the Army and served in South Carolina before returning to NM to work in construction. He and Leona built their family business of a small welding shop, Kens Welding Service, which turned into a construction business, KWS Construction, where Ken operated a crane. That was the
beginning of his love for cranes.
He was preceded in Death by his parents, his brother Mike Matthews. And his second wife Patsy Matthews. He is survived by 2 daughters; Sena Syling and husband Daron Syling of Alamogordo NM, and Casey Matthews of Alamogordo NM. His grandchildren; Kody Malett and fiance Breanna Hermanson stationed at Beauford Marine Base South Carolina, Trenten Malett, Alexander Matthews-Ramos, and Cooper Salas of Alamogordo NM. And many other family and friends who loved him.
Kenny left Alamogordo with his wife Patsy where he became a much loved
and respected crane operator in the wind farm industry. He will be truly missed by everyone he touched.
