John W. Scharmack Sr.

John Wayne Scharmack Sr. passed at the age of 93 on Thursday, 16 June 2022.  He died peacefully at his home.  He was born on July 24, 1928 in Rouseville, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Lydia M. Scharmack.  He had a sister, Agnes Gadarpe from Michigan.

He served in the US Air Force for 24 years.  He loved baseball, football, collecting baseball cards, hot wheel cars, crossword puzzles and gardening.

John is survived by his wife, Jean M. Scharmack.   His children are Linda Belaski; John Jr (passed away); Michael Scharmack and wife, Remy; Sandra Seaton and husband, Steve of Ohio; David Scharmack and wife, Irene of California.  He has 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Scenic Chapel.
