Jason Sedillo Obituary

Jason Adan Sedillo (aka Lobo) was born February 24, 1984. He was best known for his short stature with a big smile and love of wolves. Unfortunately, he passed away on April 7, 2025, from a long, hard battle of a rare & severe form of an invisible autoimmune disease, Polymyositis. He faced other hardships in his life, such as being homeless a few years before and during the pandemic but overcame almost all his hardships to give back to the community.

Jason was a hardworking born and raised Hispanic male from Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. He wanted to make a positive impact for the community. Jason was able to work as a photo double/stand-in on the first season of, "Better Call Saul;” also a few other seasons as crew. His biggest dream (that he was credited on screen) was for Marvel's "Logan;” that was many months of hard, rewarding work in his home state of New Mexico, prior to the pandemic.

Jason was able to meet and take photos with many well-known celebrities, such as, - Margot Robbie and Tina Fey from the movie. “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.” He was happy to take a rare, signed photo together with Executive Producer, Jerry Bruckheimer, from the movie, "12 Strong;” which was filmed in Alamogordo, New Mexico, USA. Jason felt honored to have worked on "The Magnificent Seven" remake due to watching Denzel Washington in his creative mind.

Jason had many achievements during his life. Jason was able to work as a stagehand in the music industry with big names such as: Janet Jackson, Taylor Swift, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Ozzy Osborne, Journey, Chris Stapleton, Green Day, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and many more. Jason also worked on a Super Bowl commercial that aired in 2019. As well as he was able to work in Aspen, Colorado for the 2019 winter X-Games.

Just before the pandemic, Jason was battling a mental health issue called Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Yet, he was still trying hard to maintain his health and integrity. He continued his love and passion of photography, winning awards locally and statewide. Many did not know that Jason received an International Honorable Mention Award in 2022 at the prestigious International Photography Awards for the photo titled, "Grandeur Rose.” He was in the top 70 in the nature professional category out of 14,000 entries from 120 countries. He would joke that when he passes away, his memorial would be engraved "R.I.P. Really Inspiring Photographer,” not “rest in peace."

He loved helping others out so much during his final months of life that he enrolled in, "Partners in Policymaking;" a program that teaches leadership skills for self-advocacy for people with disabilities. The program was founded on a national model of policy making. He really loved the program because he was learning how to speak up and make changes in the law for people with all disabilities that he also experienced personally at a local, state, and national level.

Jason was extremely proud of his estranged son Marcus I. Flores-Sedillo, who is a United States Marine from Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. Marcus is loved very much and was badly missed. Jason also had a long childhood friendship since middle school with Darla Chandler that survived over the years.

The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Scenic Chapel.
