Jackie Bryant was born to Shelby Ray and Margo Bryant on March 28, 1962 in Carrizozo, NM. The light of the world was dimmed when she slipped her Earthly bonds on November 17, 2017 to join her ancestors.
Jackie was a down-to-Earth woman who loved the wind in her hair. She was "Horse Whisperer" from way back who soothed many a beast. Jackie's laughter was infectious, she was a prankster. The love for her family and friends was as big as the great outdoor which she loved so much. Jackie was never one to back down from a battle and was a true friend to have at your back. Her wit was quick and she was always ready with a joke.
Jackie had no children of her own but was known as 'Tia Fragile' to many young'uns in her life. She is survived by her mother, Margo Nowell; her siblings, Shelley Bryant, Jeri Bryant-Saenz (Garry), and Coe Nowell (Josephine); numerous aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Shelby R. Bryant; her "Dad", Lloyd "Buster" Nowell; her sister, Tamara Bryant; her grandparents, Dink and Verda Myers, Alfred and Nolene Nowell, and Virgil and Lucille Bryant.
A Celebration of Life for Jackie will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the United Methodist Church of Tularosa. Burial will be at the Coe Ranch in Glencoe, New Mexico.
The Bryant family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
