Irene Sambrano Obituary

Irene Joann Sambrano (Armendariz) left this world and entered through Heaven's gates and is celebrating her homecoming and a heavenly family reunion that is beyond comprehension!   Irene was born on May 13, 1956 in Roswell, New Mexico and left this life on September 23, 2025 in Alamogordo, New Mexico.

She is survived and missed by her daughter, Julia Sava; sons, Clifford Sambrano Jr and Salvador Sambrano (who all made her a very proud gramma and great gamma!); siblings, Debbie New, Teresa Lund, Rosanna Nelson, Sallie Black and David Armendaris; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Irene is the daughter of David and Julia Armendariz, married to Clifford Sambrano, all who preceded her into Heaven along with her brother, Gary Armendariz.

She grew up in Roswell, New Mexico until her family moved to Lakewood, California around 1966.  She graduated from Artesia High School then set out to live her life, working, getting married and raising awesome kids.  She loved family gatherings like holidays, birthdays, Friday night poker, making tamales for Christmas and going to the casinos (she was incredibly lucky) and so much more.  She always remembered everyone's birthday and would call, text or send cards.  Irene and Clifford moved back to Tularosa, New Mexico and raised their family.  They enjoyed and were very involved with the American Legion Motorcycle Riders and participated in their Patriot Guard as well.  She lived life her way!

Irene returned to California after Clifford passed to care for her Mon and Dad until they passed.  She then left San Jacinto, California and returned to Alamogordo, New Mexico to be close to her kids and grandkids (there's still more coming).

As unexpected and devastating as her leaving is to all that knew and loved her, the hole in our hearts will be filled with our memories of Irene.  She will be deeply missed.

We all LOVEYOUMORE Irene.
