Ima Sue Meek

Ima Sue (Walker) Meek, 83, passed away on May 8, 2025 in Mayhill, New Mexico. She was born on October 22, 1941 in Odessa, Texas to Allie and Myrtle (Franks) Walker. 

Survivors include her three daughters, Tojia Morris and husband Bryan of Mayhill, NM; Rocketta Owofeso and husband Laju of Tyler, TX; Karen Lacy and husband Gary of Granbury, TX; son, Timothy Meek and wife Lydia of Lakemont, GA.  She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Allie Ervin Walker; mother, Myrtle Walker; and son, Russell Alan Meek.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

Sue loved music, reading, playing mahjong and traveling.

The Meek family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Scenic Chapel of Alamogordo, NM.
