Francise “Fran” Olive Armstrong, 91, passed away on March 25, 2025 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was born on November 7, 1933 in Union, Oregon to Phillip and Myrna Lymburner.
She taught at Sacramento Elementary School for almost thirty years and was passionate about her students and their education.
She was a career Air Force wife that successfully raised her family in California, Florida, Germany, and New Mexico.
She was Baptized on December 31st, 1972 as a Born Again Christian and a strong woman of faith who took great comfort in her Savior Jesus Christ with whom she now resides.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah L. Muldavin and husband Esteban of Albuquerque NM, son Michael A. Armstrong and wife Diana of Atlanta GA, son James D. Armstrong of Alamogordo NM, grandchildren Laura Zavada, Aaron and Crystal Muldavin, Brittany and Adam Hoots, Lena Muldavin and Alex Ssegujja, and Alexa and Mike Carrico, and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, James “Jim” Dean Armstrong.
The family will greet friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on March 31, 2025 at Scenic Chapel.
The Funeral Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on March 31, 2025 at Scenic Chapel with Pastor Ron Lafitte officiating.
A private burial will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery
The Armstrong family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Scenic Chapel to direct the funeral services.
