Elizabeth Ruth Weitherspoon, 65, passed away on March 3, 2017 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was born on January 18, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Reese and Mary (Nelson) Weitherspoon.
Survivors include her spouse, Betty Thomas; her son, Damian C. Weitherspoon of Montgomery, Alabama; and members of the Weitherspoon and Nelson families.
She was preceded in death by her father, Reese Weitherspoon and mother, Mary L. Thomas.
The memorial service for Elizabeth Weitherspoon will be announced at a later date.
The Weitherspoon family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
