Elaine Carol LaSala

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elaine Carol LaSala, who left us peacefully on June 23, 2025. Elaine was born on November 8th 1937 in Paterson, New Jersey. She lived a full and loving life, dedicating herself to her family and community.

Elaine was a devoted Mother, Wife, Grandmother and an active volunteer at Trinity Baptist Church in High Rolls, New Mexico. She cherished her roles as a mother to four children and was happily married to her high school sweetheart, James LaSala.

Elaine raised her family with love and kindness, touching the lives of many as a teacher in Vacation Bible School and Sunday School. Her faith and dedication to her church were a testament to her compassionate spirit.

Elaine is survived by her beloved husband, James LaSala, and her children: James LaSala of Tennessee and Deana Wolowitz of New Jersey. She was also a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and a great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her cherished children, Toni LaSala and Chris LaSala , and is remembered by her sister, Judy Snyder of Michigan.

Elaine’s warmth and love will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her life was a blessing to all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, where she found so much joy serving others. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the church in her memory.

Rest in peace, Elaine. You will always be in our hearts.
