Dr. Thomas Hall Obituary

Dr. Thomas Hall, 75, passed away on February 8, 2023 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born on June 27, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas to Jack and Virginia Gayle Hall. 

Survivors include his sister, Melinda Gibson of Pagosa Springs, CO; his brother, David Hall and his wife, Betty, of Citrus Heights, CA; his niece, Laurie Van Tatenhove and husband, Jeff of Lone Tree, CO; his nephew Michael Hall of Sacramento, California; his niece, Michelle Mercier and her husband, David from Orange County, California, and longtime companion, Laureen Metcalf.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Hall and his mother, Virginia Gayle Hall.

He was a 1970 graduate of West Point and served 4 years in the army.  He graduated from UNM School of Medicine in the eighties and spent the rest of his life caring for other people and his family.  He worked as a hospitalist at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center for 10 years.  His kindness and love for others always shone through.

The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Scenic Chapel at 1334 N Scenic Drive, Alamogordo, New Mexico.

A funeral will be conducted in May 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The Hall family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Scenic Chapel to direct the funeral services.
