David Michael Carter

David Michael Carter age 73 passed away peacefully in his home on June 5th 2025. He was born on July 24th 1951 in Placerville, California to Elmer and Sammie Carter. 

David was the epitome of hard work and resilience.  He was the 4th of seven kids, Myra Lane, Ada Culwell, Daniel Carter, Patsy Lay, Sharon Gill and Robert Carter.  David was a self taught master sheet metal man who worked for over 40 years helping families stay comfortable in their homes.  He took immense pride in his work and never shied from a challenge.  Beyond his work he was a loving son to his stepdad, Eddie Davis, a devoted husband to Linda Carter, a loving father to Jerry, David, Stevie, Krickette and Justin Carter, and a proud grandfather to his 9 grand kids and 5 great grand kids.

David's legacy is one of integrity, resilience and love.  His kids invite you to come celebrate and remember him on July 12th at 11:00 am at The Gathering Place Church 1601 Hawaii, Alamogordo, NM.

The Carter family has entrusted their loved one to the care of PCS Direct Cremation Service for direct cremation.
