Bob D Van Cleave, 68, passed away on March 5th 2026. He was born on August 12, 1957 in Wichita Kansas.
Bob graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1975. Bob's passion in life was building and working hard. In 1984 he started his own construction business which he successfully operated for many years. Bob and his wife owned and ran Patriot Self Storage for 25 years. He was a living book of knowledge, capable of doing electrical, plumbing, mechanic work or anything he put his mind to.
Bob met the love of his life in 1978 and they married in 1980. He dedicated his life to loving and caring for his wife, daughter's and grandchildren. He loved the outdoors, barbecuing, working in his yard, hiking and watching the night sky. What he held closest to his heart was family.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debbie; daughters, Tara and Kayla; grandchildren, Audrey, Adriena, Isaac, Aaliyah, Debora, Daniel and Leanna due in June; brother, Roy (Linde) and sister Kay (Lance).
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Van Cleave; mother, Magdalena Kuon; stepfather, Kurt Kuon and brother, Ray Van Cleave.
Graveside services will be held on March 12, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Monte Vista Cemetery.
The Van Cleave family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Scenic Chapel.
