Alberto Cadena was born April 20, 1943 at Santa Rosa Durango Mexico. He passed away May 21, 2021. His wife, brother, and children were by his side when he passed.
His children are first generation U.S citizens. He moved to Chicago Illinois when he was young and worked for the Railroad and retired. Dad then moved to El Paso TX and met the love of his life, Antonia B Cadena. Dad had Raymond and Amber Cadena and took in 4 grandchildren as his own, Uriel, Areli, Eliezer, and Lisa Cadena. With such a big family Dad has a total of 6 kids and 12 grandkids.
Dad enjoyed traveling and often traveled to Chicago and El Paso and soon after fell in love with Alamogordo in which most of his kids and grandkids reside. Dad also loved traveling to Mexico.
He is survived by his siblings, Socorro Cadena, Agustina Nevarez, Fidencio Villa Cadena, Alicia Ochoa, Cruz Cadena, Mauricio Cadena, Tely Melendez, Jesus Cadena, Ofelia Cadena.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria de la Luz Villa Cadena; his father, Ramon Cadena; and his brother, José Villa Cadena.
Dad loved to spend time with his family and adored his grandchildren, He was full of life and was a very social person. He always gave a hand to anyone that needed it. He enjoyed the sport of boxing, and fruit picking in Cloudcroft. He will be truly missed.
The family will greet friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on May 28, 2021 at Ministries 3:16 Church 401 Texas Avenue in Alamogordo, NM. The funeral service for will follow at 2:00 pm with Ernest Martinez officiating. Burial will be at Monte Vista Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Eliezer Cadena, Uriel Cadena, Fidencio Cadena, Joe Aragon, Pablo Barraza, José A. Rodriguez and Ramon Cadena .
